Nephrologists use a system called dialysis to artificially replace kidney systems. Pulmonologistsemploy a process known as bronchoscopy in order to see the the internal air passageways of the lung, for diagnostic purposes. A similar tool, an endoscope, is utilized by gastroenterologists to visualize the insides of the stomach and digestive tract. Angioplasty is a cardiovascular surgery where an obstructed blood vessel is widened using surgical tools and procedure.
